"The versatility of the Super Vac-U-Flex hose

spokesperson. "Hi-Tech Duravent uses a proprietary manufacturing process to
create this high-strength, fiber-reinforced PVC hose and bond it to a coated
spring-steel wire helix. Flexible yet tough for easy handling, it bends around
corners and withstands service temperatures from -20¡ to 150¡ F.
"Super Vac-U-Flex hose is ideal for use on industrial or commercial vacuum cleaners and floor care equipment, insulation blowers, and ventilation equipment for machinery or circuitry. Other applications include removal of dust, lint, oil mist, gasoline fumes, or ozone; breather hoses for fire-and-rescue helmets; and hoses for moving plastic pellets in compounding plants.
"Sold in standard lengths of 25 or 50 feet with interior diameters of three or four inches, Super Vac-U-Flex can also be ordered in custom lengths, colors, and diameters from 11/4 to 4 inches. Cuffed ends and screw-on end fittings are available for easier installation and tighter seals.
"Other modifications, including wire pitch and wall thickness, are possible to meet specific customer needs. For example, the hose can be manufactured with a smooth interior and non-metallic helix to serve as protective conduit for electrical wires or cables," the spokesperson said.
