Jacks Associates Announces New Filter 1 Mistron Mist Collector

The new Filter 1 Mist Collector from Jacks Associates is designed for a large welded tube mill operation to collect and filter mist and smoke. Outfitted with a 30 HP motor, it develops 24,000 CFM. Two 18-inch diameter inlet collars at each end connect to the necessary spiral duct work. Two drain fittings are located beneath to allow for disposal of excess wet solids. Three stage filtration includes a mist impinger, a 40% prefilter and a standard 95% ASHRAE final filter. Primary filter life is over one year, the company said.
