Wireless MHM (Machine Health Monitor) from GTI Spindle is the first system of
its kind to be released for full predictive maintenance information accessible

"Picture a common situation: an operator changes a tool or any other important machine component, and it is misaligned or out of balance. Normally this is overlooked and undetected. With MHM, an alarm emails or calls the user and analyst simultaneously. Once detected, the analyst or user can see that there has been a change of unbalance that has occurred. He can now address and correct the problem by repairing or replacing the tooling, pulley or other component. In the past, this would have remained undetected, resulting in worn bearings and/or components at an accelerated rate, causing an unplanned failure.
"This system works the same under normal wear conditions. The alarm level triggers you to look at the data and then the data tells you whether you need to replace bearings, realign, balance or replace the component."
