Newstripe Announces Improved Pack-Master

Newstripe has announced the improved Pack-Master in-drum compactor with labor-saving accessories. The manually operated Pack-Master is designed to save time and money when disposing of, or recycling materials such as paper, paint booth filters, aluminum cans, absorbents and disposable clothes.

Priced at $840.00, the Pack-Master will pay for itself the first few times it is used, the company said.

"The Pack-Master features several labor saving accessories," said a spokesperson. "The Roll-out Base allows drums to be easily moved from under the compacting plate, for adding waste materials to the drum and removing the drums when filled. The Split Barrel enables you to compact waste in disposable liners and then, simply 'open' the sides of the barrel to slide out the filled liner. No more awkward lifting of heavy bags. The Sorbent Basket hangs inside any open top 55-gallon drum and lets you 'wring out' excess fluids from absorbent socks and pads. Fluids can then be reclaimed or disposed of without the mess associated with roller type wringers. The Wheel Kit makes it easy to take the Pack-Master to the waste, reducing the movement of bulky containers.

"In addition, the Pack-Master is powerful, generating a whopping 4,000 pounds of force for a compaction ratio of up to 4-to-1; rugged, manufactured from structural steel and the finest components for years of service; backed by an 18-month warranty, the longest available; and is safe and easy to use, just place a drum of material on the Pack-Master's base and compact it by operating the ram lever just like an auto jack.

"The Pack-Master is also available in air-powered and air-powered spark resistant models."
