Designed specifically for general contractors and maintenance work, Lincoln Electric's Ranger 250 GXT provides extra performance, power and protection for professionals looking for an AC/DC welder partnered with a powerful AC auxiliary power generator, said the company. "The Ranger 250 GXT has a powerful 250-amp welding output for stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding, as well as arc gouging with up to 3/16" carbons," said a company spokesperson. "Its smooth welding output provides exceptional welding capability, and the unit's remote control capabilities allow for the addition of a foot or hand remote control current. This additional feature is excellent for DC TIG welding or AC TIG welding with the optional TIG Module high-frequency generator. "The Ranger 250 GXT's high capacity AC generator provides 11,000 watts of peak power and 10,000 watts of continuous power. A full KVA 120V/240V outlet allows operators to run high-capacity items such as a plasma cutter, inverter welder or a motor. Four 120V outlets allow the operator to power several tools at the same time, such as lights or a grinder. With the Ranger 250 GXT, operators can simultaneously weld and use the AC generator power for maximum productivity. "The Ranger
250 GXT's fully enclosed case provides for lower noise than a partially enclosed
or unenclosed welder of comparable size. It also provides additional protection
and easy service access. The case can also now be ordered with a stainless steel
roof, case sides and engine door. |
