W.F. Harris Lighting Offers New Concept for Low Ambient Egress Lighting

W.F. Harris Lighting has announced the release of its newest line of egress emergency lighting fixtures configured to function in low ambient temperatures: Model 1200-EM-LA Wall/Ceiling Fixture and Model 1200-WP-EM-LA Wall Pack Fixture.

In these two-lamp fixtures, both energy-efficient lamps are designed to operate under normal conditions at a minimum of -18¡C (0¡F). When a power failure occurs, one lamp operates at a minimum of -20¡C (-4¡F).

The stylish appearance of either the wall pack or wall/ceiling model allows the series to blend with the built environment, the company said. In addition, the design compatibility of this new model with the company's family of other products can allow architects and specifying engineers design continuity throughout the job.

"Engineered with components and materials offering superb energy efficiency and the highest resistance to rust, corrosion and impact, this new series carries a lifetime guarantee against rust, corrosion and breakage," said a spokesperson. "The injection-molded polycarbonate lens offers a smooth exterior surface for ease of cleaning. Rounded corners provide increased impact-resistant strength and safety during installation and re-lamping. UL listed for emergency and wet location emergency applications, this series is ideal for egress and security lighting in industrial and commercial establishments."
