Using Kerk's patented take up mechanism, the NTB series maintains axial stiffness while system torque is held to a minimum, providing smooth operation and long life throughout its load and speed range. The NTB series assembly has eliminated the need to highly preload the nut to compensate for load.
The nut is manufactured with a self-lubricating polyacetal designed to run efficiently on Kerk's precision rolled shafting. The screws are 303 stainless and are available with Kerk's proprietary long life TFE coating, which eliminates the need for external lubrication and maintenance.
The NTB series are available with a triangular flange, round flange or thread mount and can handle a dynamic load of up to 200 lbs. The assembly is available in a variety of diameters and lengths.
