Igus offers DryLin N Low-Profile Linear Guides

DryLin® N low-profile linear guide systems from igus® Inc. are designed for high-speed applications. DryLin N is flat with a small mounting height and width. Plastic gliding elements run in an anodized aluminum rail, which enables oil-free, maintenance-free operation. Because it is self-lubricating, DryLin N is suited for environments that prohibit the use of lubricated linear systems.

DryLin N is also suited to short-travel applications. Even at speeds up to 32 feet per second, it still runs with no lubrication and will not score the rail. DryLin N can be used in medical devices, test instruments, packaging machinery, custom assembly machinery and material-handling devices. It is available in four widths.

"DryLin N is resistant to dirt, dust and contaminants," said an igus spokesperson. "It's also corrosion-resistant and lightweight. DryLin N incurs low wear and also has a low coefficient of friction."
