Long-Reach End Mills for Mold and Die Industry

Micro 100, Inc., an innovator in the field of carbide cutting tools, has available a series of long-reach solid carbide end mills. Micro 100 products are top performers in the marketplace and shock resistant.

Highly acclaimed in the mold and die industry, the GLR series (square end) and the BLR series (ball end) are manufactured in 2 and 4 flute configurations. Both are center cutting with a 30¡ helix and feature .020" reduced neck diameters for the extra clearance required in long reach milling applications.

These solid carbide end mills are available in diameters from 3/16" to 1" in nine sizes. Shank diameter tolerance is -.0001" to -.0003". T.I.R. maximum is .0005" for all sizes. Cutter diameter is +.000"-.002" for end mills up to 1/4" and +.000"-.003" for 5/16 to 1 inch sizes. The ball radius tolerance for the BLR series is +.005"-.000".
