Waste Minimizer System

      MOCAP announces the development of its new Waste Minimizer System used in the manufacturing of custom, rubber, injection molded components.

      This proprietary system eliminates most runner scrap and improves cycle times. By cutting waste material up to 70%, costs are reduced.

      MOCAP customers benefit from the enhanced material properties of standard formulations such as EPDM and Silicone but at costs associated with thermoplastic rubbers. The Waste Minimizer System means high quality, reduced flash, close tolerances and fast cycle times typical of the injection molded process, plus competitive pricing through reduced runner scrap. No extra tooling costs are incurred over traditional rubber injection molds. Customers receive the benefit of cold runner savings at no additional charge.
