Whether being used in hobby, farm, auto body or
industry applications, Lincoln Electric's lineup of Pro-Cut Plasma Cutting
Systems can cut any conductive material, said the company.
"Cutting with the smaller Pro-Cut 25 or gouging with the Pro-Cut 80, Lincoln's plasma cutters are faster and cleaner compared to that of the oxy-fuel cutting processes," said a Lincoln spokesperson. "What sets these cutters apart from the competition is the patented Vortech technology torch, which concentrates the arc to deliver efficient performance and long life. Also are the Parts-in-Place torch safety features, which prevent the torch from operating when sensing parts are not in proper position," said the spokesperson.
"The Pro-Cut 25 is a handy cutting tool to have around. Ideal for hobby, farm, HVAC, auto body shop or sheet metal fabrication, this professional-grade plasma cutting system lists a host of features that make your metal cutting jobs safe, fast and easy. Weighing in at only 29.5 lbs. (13.4 kgs.), the Pro-Cut 25 generates 25 amps of cutting power capable of cutting electrically conductive materials up to 3/8" (9.5 mm) thick.
"Packed with patented features, the Pro-Cut 55 is the top choice for industrial plasma cutting for HVAC, sheet metal and light plate fabrication metalworking applications. Generating 60 amps of power capable of cutting conductive materials up to 3/4" (19 mm) thick, the dual winding technology delivers easy starts, lower dross levels and quick arc transfer rates for fast re-strikes, even on expanded metal. This model weighs 55 lbs. (25kgs.).
"The Pro-Cut 80 exhibits maximum cutting ability
with a full 85 amps of power, slicing through metal up to 1-1/4" (32mm) thick
with ease. Using six patented technologies, the unit is perfect for maintenance,
fabrication or other applications, which require cutting of thicker metals.
Weighing 95 lbs. (43 kgs.), the Pro-Cut 80 also includes an optional 'valet
style' undercarriage providing uncluttered cable storage and easy transport on
the job site," the spokesperson said.
