Bystronic has introduced ByTrans: a new material
handling system that yields greater profits through higher machine utilization,
expanded operations and reduced labor costs. With ByTrans, user operations can
be expanded up to three shifts, said the company.
"Loading and unloading takes just sixty seconds so that the system is always faster than the shortest cutting plan. The short cycle time, which is independent of the thickness of the metal sheet, ensures greater overall throughput. The ByTrans offers complete accessibility and optimum operation in a small, 15' x 10' inline footprint and handles all sheet thickness up to one inch.
