Hougen Manufacturing has
introduced a newly designed, improved model to its line of portable electro-hydraulic hole
punchers. The Punch-ProŠ Model 75002.5 features a larger throat depth - increased by 50%
- that provides more reach into workpieces, thus expanding the working range of the unit.
With a 2-3/8" throat depth, plus capacity to punch round holes up to 11/16" in
diameter thru materials up to 1/4" thick in as little as 1.5 seconds, the Model
75002.5 is ideal for a wide range of holemaking applications, replacing slow, tiring
hand-held drilling operations. The unit weighs just 28.6 pounds and operates using a
standard 115v power source for easy on-site fabricating work as well as jobs in the shop.
The Punch-Pro 75002.5 Electro-hydraulic Portable Hole Puncher is a self-contained, single-body unit incorporating the hydraulic pump - there are no separate pumps, hoses or connectors to interfere with work, or to leak and require frequent maintenance. In operation, a single trigger activates the punch cycle and the punch is automatically returned to the start position with no valves to open and close. The unit also features a jog down cycle for accurate tool locating prior to punching thru the material.
The Model 75002.5 can be used with flat bars, angles, channels, and H-steels shapes, and, in addition to round holes, Hougen has available a wide selection of oblong and square tool sets---exclusive-design punches and dies which provide long tool life and enhance hole size capacity to tonnage ratio. Standard equipment included with the 75002.5 is a tool kit, a work stand for bench use, and carrying case; a hands-free foot switch is optional.
