Robot Rotating Column is designed for increasing the work envelope of your
welding robot without sacrificing accuracy, speed or motion. With 360¡ of
rotation and a hoist that lifts the robot vertically, you can position work
areas around the column to utilize it's entire work area, the company said.
"The columns vertical hoist helps you reach even the largest workpieces imaginable," said a company spokesperson. "All axes are servo controlled for precision movement and a repeatability of +/- 0.004" (0.1¥ mm).
"The Wolf Robot Rotating Column is integrated to the robot controller and provides coordinated motion between the robot and the track system.
"The Rotating Column is a very rigid structure, with the vertical boom and horizontal robot mounting arm constructed from closed box sections for minimum deflection and vibration."
