The new Turnmill 1250 is built for Monarch in the Czech Republic and offers the opportunity to complete what previously took multiple set ups in one set up, the company said. It is designed for use by Aircraft engine component manufacturing, valve & fitting manufacturers, heavy equipment manufacturers and transportation component manufacturers.
The Turnmill features an 80 HP turning table with up to 1,900 mm swing, and traveling gantry for X, Y and Z axes. The machine is equipped with a ram with 49-inches of Z travel, 50 HP spindle, X travel of 55-inches, Y travel of 59-inches, the ability to store and pick up ten interchangeable heads including a tilt spindle head and a 45-position tool changer, with the ability to change tools into the heads.
