Tong-Tai (Topper) Releases TVL10DC Vertical Turret Lathe

Tong-Tai (Topper) has released the TVL10DC Vertical Turret lathe. Tong-Tai can provide vertical turret lathes from 10-inch chuck all the way to 100-inch tables with turrets, rotating tools and Automatic Tool Changers (ATC).

"TVL10DC is a 40-inch table, 50 HP VTL with a swing of 48-inch (1,200 mm) and a 12-tool ATC," said a spokesperson. "The machine has a rigid construction with box ways on both the X and Z axes, with forced lubrication on all the ways. An 8-inch RAM structure on the Z-axis ensures heavy duty cutting at maximum stroke. There is a 2-speed gearbox to provide power at the low end, with full 50HP available at 10 RPM. A large Timken cross roller bearing ensures accuracy of heavy-duty cutting. The ATC tooling is clamped to the RAM by a face coupling, providing heavy-duty vibration free cutting.

"The control is Fanuc-0iT with all Fanuc components. Rotating tool versions of this and other machines are also available with Fanuc-18iT control."
