"The TRAK FHM Series machines featuring the easy-to-use ProtoTRAK SMX CNC are designed to increase the productivity of toolroom and small-lot work," said a spokesperson. The ProtoTRAK SMX CNC enables users to transition freely between manual and CNC operation. "The TRAK FHM Series Bed Mills have the unique TRAKing feature. This feature enables the user to run complete part programs in the CNC and retain complete control of the machine feed. Cranking the hand wheel during TRAKing runs the X, Y and Z axes as programmed. The machinist can run forward through the entire program, back up through the entire program, crank fast or slow, even turn off the spindle to take a measurement during program run.
