Dorner Manufacturing Corporation has announced the introduction of a completely redesigned line of low-profile industrial conveyors that addresses the critical issue of efficient parts movement in a broad variety of applications.

The new conveyors, called the 6100 Series, combine a streamlined profile, a rugged stainless steel frame, sealed bearings and other low maintenance features to provide reliable operation in manufacturing and industrial environments. With a 1-1/2" profile, the conveyor assures efficient parts transfer in confined areas. The streamlined design also eliminates obstructions that can complicate machine and operator interface for assembly, packaging and processing operations.

An innovative v-belt tracking system in the 6100 Series conveyors maintains proper belt tracking, eliminating the need for belt adjustments and other maintenance requirements. A v-groove in the center of the conveyor frame keeps the 6100 Series conveyor belt firmly in place.

Other design features that reduce overall maintenance and increase production efficiency include an open bottom stainless steel frame and rack and pinion tensioning for simple belt removal and change in approximately five minutes. Optional toolless belt tensioning models also are available.

Conveyor widths for the line range from two to 18 inches. End drive models are available in lengths from two to 18 inch widths and lengths to 24 feet.

Standard 6100 Series conveyors are available in a variety of belt types. Cleated belt, flat belt end drive and flat belt center drive models are available, as are corrosion resistant and magnetic models.

The 6100 Series conveyors also are offered with a number of pre-engineered accessories to meet requirements of different processing environments. For maximum flexibility and versatility, the conveyors are designed with quick-clamp accessory mounting rail feature that enables fast and simple addition of accessories at desired locations.
