four color catalog featuring over 730 pages of detailed product information,
including specifications, application guidelines, dimensional and performance
statistics, and technical data covering its full range of tooling for turning
applications.
The catalog covers turning inserts, toolholders, boring bars, drills, parting, grooving, threading and cartridge-style systems. The literature is divided into color-coded sections that direct users quickly to targeted product pages where detailed charts are provided. The tables give specific information along with photos and/or dimensioned illustrations that assist in identification, application and the ordering process, said the company.
In addition to the complete product listings, each section includes an introductory overview, technical data specific to application criteria (i.e., turning insert group includes chipbreaker and top form geometries data), and an explanation of identifying nomenclature. The catalog also includes machining guidelines and recommendations for various workpiece material and insert combinations, available spare parts, reference materials providing torque drives and material hardness and conversion tables, said Valenite.
