"Remstar's Shuttle XP VLM is a series of trays stored on the inside of a column with an inserter/extractor device running down the center that delivers stored items to a variable height ergonomic work counter for easy retrieval," said a Remstar spokesperson. "The modular design of the Shuttle XP VLM allows it to be configured to meet varying ceiling heights. Depending on useable building interior heights, 85% and more of a conventional storage system's occupied floor space can be recovered."
"The DVD describes and illustrates the flexibility of the Shuttle XP VLM as an automated storage and retrieval device highlighting features such as its, ergonomic operation, weight distribution system, tray retrieval speed selection, CubeStar space management technology, and bi-parting shutter doors. The combined features make the Shuttle XP VLM suitable in a variety of applications including small parts, die, tool and fixture storage, sheet metal and rod stock storage, and in robotic cell, point-of-use, kitting, distribution, central storage, and buffer storage operations. The new DVD also describes a wide range of options available with the Shuttle XP VLM," the spokesperson said.
