The new catalog edition for ZX Boring, Facing, and Contouring Systems, from Cogsdill Tool Products, depicts ZX facing/contouring heads, modular boring tools, and valve seat pocket tools. The catalog includes specifications, applications, photos of tools in action, and a handy Data Sheet for use when requesting a quotation, said the company.

ZX tools machine contoured surfaces in one set-up or with minimum number of tool changes. They are designed to run on horizontal boring machines with a CNC inner programmable quill. Users report productivity increases of 500% or greater. Characteristics include low set-up times, plus high machining rates, which promote higher productivity and lower costs, the company said.
