Bystronic Inc. has introduced its laser resonator,
Bylaser, with the 5200 ARC. With a consistent, high output power of 5200 watts,
coupled with the Adaptive Radius Control (ARC), it offers improved piercing and
cutting performance and quality. ARC provides automatic optimization of the beam
diameter for all sheet metal thicknesses and materials. According to the
company, this technology leads to a marked time-savings of 30% in part
manufacturing.
"High overall processing efficiency makes it possible to operate your laser cutting system with low production costs, ensuring an excellent price-to-performance ratio," stated a Bystronic spokesperson. The 5200 has a compact, space-saving design for greater convenience. Operation and diagnostics use Laserview via a touch screen on the operating terminal. Appropriate materials include steel up to 1", stainless steel up to 3/4" and aluminum up to 1/2".
