introduced its new PEAK CO2 laser lenses which are designed to enable high
power lasers to operate at peak performance.
These new Mate PEAK laser lenses offer peak performance in C02 cutting applications requiring as much as 6000 watts or as little as 1000 watts, according to a company spokesperson. The absorption rating is 0.15%. "The Peak lens is made with a proprietary design that creates an impermeable moisture resistant surface for maximum lens stability, consistency, reliability, and performance. This important feature enables higher product throughput and machine productivity by allowing higher laser cutting power and production speeds," explained the spokesperson.
"The new Mate PEAK lenses are HeNe beam compatible, which allows for safe setup and operation. The lenses are also scratch resistant and have a 20/10 scratch/dig rating. These features are essential in a top quality laser running at peak performance," the spokesperson said.
Available for most CO2 laser cutting systems, Mate PEAK lenses are now available for Amada, Bystronic, Cincinnati, Finn-Power, Mazak, Mitsubishi, Murata Wiedemann, Strippit/LVD, Salvagnini and Trumpf machines.
