Johnson Gage Features New CHT Thread Inspection System

The Johnson Gage Company will feature the new CHT Thread Inspection System designed for the in-process inspection of large diameter parts featuring an extended range of measurement capability at IMTS. Available for any UN, UNJ, Buttress, Metric or Acme thread above 3.000" and manufactured to the same precise quality standards as current Johnson Gage product, the new system is offered in dedicated, adjustable and extended range versions. All existing pitch diameter or functional size rolls are interchangeable on the new systems. In addition, the company will demonstrate the new ThreadSpecs 2.0 fully integrated thread engineering software program designed to simplify the calculation of critical thread elements and characteristics for UN, UNJ, Buttress, Acme, Metric, Metric J and Whitworth thread forms.
