Hurco to Launch 14 New Machines |

"Hurco will celebrate 40 years of innovation by introducing an unprecedented number of new machines at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). With a focus on 5-axis technology, multi-tasking and oversized machining centers, Hurco will demonstrate how its integrated control with WinMax software and patented machine tool technologies increase productivity that can lead to increased profits for shop owners. Of the 31 Hurco machines to be displayed, 14 will be new," said a company spokesperson. Hurco will unveil its commitment to the large machining center category with the introduction of the DCX22 dual column machining center with X/Y/Z travels of 86.5"/69"/29.5" and the VTXZ zone machining center. These big machines are designed to handle large parts, dies and molds, and to withstand heavy loads. Hurco has devoted significant resources to the development of 5-axis and multi-tasking machines with the development of the high performance TMX line of slant-bed lathes and has added numerous models to its two 5-axis lines. The TMX Series features the TMX8MY, which is a
high performance lathe with motorized live tooling and a bonus Y-axis for
increased flexibility, and the TMX8MYS, which has a sub-spindle with full C-axis
capability in addition to a bonus Y-axis and motorized live tooling. |

The Hurco 5-axis machining centers include the U series with an integrated high capacity trunnion table in assorted sizes and the SR series with a B-axis swivel head and a C-axis rotary table design. In addition to all of the new machines, the Hurco IMTS booth will include demonstrations on nine of the company's flagship VMX Series vertical machining centers, five new models of the VM Series machining centers, the complete TM line of slant-bed lathes with significant performance improvements and the HTX500 horizontal machining center.
