"From HEIDENHAIN, a world leader in precision measurement components and systems, comes an opportunity to view its newest products for machine tools at this year's IMTS 2008 Show. Also expected is a stage set for a HEIDENHAIN 'Accuracy Campaign' that promises to give booth visitors insight into motion control issues.
"At booth #D-4419 look for HEIDENHAIN's DIADUR symbols as indications that you are in the right place. The DIADUR is a metal etching process invented by HEIDENHAIN in 1950 that has come to be known as a representation of high precision measurement around the world," said a company spokesperson.
HEIDENHAIN's IMTS show product highlights will also include recent entries into the control market.
Also included will be HEIDENHAIN's latest digital readout (DRO) in the form of the versatile ND 500 system coupled with a HEIDENHAIN's LS linear scale. And many new HEIDENHAIN touch probe options will be on display, including the TS 444 battery-free infrared probe, the TS 740 probe (one of the most accurate probes in the world) and the UTI 192 interface box which allows for probe integration to non-TNC controls. With these, more CNCs machines than ever can utilize HEIDENHAIN's broad range of probing products.
