Designed for contract manufacturing, as well as
OEMs, the new TNW-3500R automated lathe from Fuji provides turning, drilling and
milling operations - all in one machine. The Fuji TNW-3500R offers easy change
over, suited for high mix, high volume production.
"A best seller in Japan, the TNW-3500R is available for the first time in the U.S. Twin spindles, a gantry robot and slant bed are among the features of the TNW-3500R. A live tool turret performs secondary operations; live tool motor power is 3/5 hp. For built-in automation, the TNW3500R features a Fuji gantry loader with a 22 lb. capacity and dual 10 tool turrets," said a Fuji spokesperson.
The TNW3500R's A2-6 spindle turns with a 15/20 HP spindle motor and operates at a maximum of 4,200 RPM. A work stocker (12 stations), chip conveyor and a set of turret holders are included as standard. For user-friendly operation, the TNW-3500R includes the new Fanuc 310i-A CNC Control.
An optional Intelligent Load Monitor is available. Suitable for all types of applications, this monitor detects insert wear and breakage. No additional sensors are required. The monitor is programmable by touch screen.
The recommended gantry robot work size of the TNW3500R is 190mm (7.5") x 105mm (4"). "Fuji turns the machining of a part into a complete process. When you contact Fuji, the part to be machined is analyzed by engineers with experience in process and manufacturing engineering. With the largest install base at the major automotive manufacturers, Fuji engineers apply their experience with the Fuji machines that are built for automation from the ground up. These highly accurate machines employ built-in robotic automation, in-process auto gauging for quality control, and are engineered with Fuji custom workholding, all from Fuji. Fuji solutions are supported by factory-trained American engineers 24/7," said the spokesperson.
