DMTG North America ('Dalian') Introduces Broad Product Line at IMTS '08

DMTG North America, the domestic sales network for Dalian Machine Tool Group, China's largest machine tool builder, will showcase a broad line of productive, highly economical CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centers, and other metalworking solutions at IMTS 2008, the company said.

Among the many new 'Dalian' machines on display are:

  • The new VDF-1800 CNC Vertical Machining Center, with 2000 mm x 800 mm table capacity, featuring ultra high speed traverse rates, spindle speeds and tool change to help make significant cycle time reductions on larger workpieces, the company said.

  • The new DL20M CNC lathe, latest in the family of highly productive DL Series 'slant bed' lathes covering workpiece lengths from 250 mm to 3000 mm, and designed for exceptional precision, stability and performance, said DMTG.

  • The new MDH80 CNC Horizontal Machining Center, for workpieces with diameters to 800 mm; just one of the MDH series featuring exceptionally compact, highly rigid machine design, high-speed, high power spindle and very rapid tool change, pallet change and axis traverse and federates, the company said.
