MIFCO Manufacturers Heat Treating Furnaces

MIFCO - McEnglevan Industrial Furnace Co. is an American company that has manufactured high quality foundry and heat treating furnaces and accessories since 1938.

MIFCO's Heat Treat furnaces come in a variety of configurations and are available in electric or gas-fired models. They range in size from small electric benchtop models to large car bottom units, with load capacities up to 5 ft. by 5 ft. by 8 ft. in depth. Chamber sizes on the gas-fired units start at 10 in. by 12 in. by 24 inches in depth. The gas-fired units are available in two temperature ranges: 100¡F to 1200¡F and 400¡F to 2200¡F. The electric units are available in three temperature ranges: 100¡F to 1200¡F, 100¡F to 1600¡F, and 400¡F to 2220¡F.

The foundry furnaces are offered in electric, gas, and oil-fired configurations, ranging in size from small, bench-top electric melters for school and hobby to large industrial stationary and tilting melters. The maximum capacities are 7500 lbs. for aluminum, 20,000 lbs. for zinc and kirksite, and up to 30,000 lbs. for lead. They serve small to medium sized sand foundries, die casting operations, and mining operations, as well as art foundries and the jewelry manufacturing industry. In addition to furnaces, they manufacture a line of tongs and shanks and distribute a complete line of high temperature, safety apparel.
