2150¡F Fire-Box HT High Temperature Oven Furnaces

A line of Buzzer Fire-Box HT high temperature oven furnaces, offering large, brick-lined work chambers and rated for 2150¡F service, has been introduced by Charles A. Hones, Inc. These furnaces are available in both floor-type and bench-type models which are efficiently lined with 2300¡F firebrick backed up with 1200¡F block insulation.

According to the manufacturer, these furnaces are heated with the Buzzer all-cast iron venturi burner, which is said to produce the hottest and quickest heat without a blower. This burner requires no blower, no compressed air and no complicated piping. The burner system is intended to be quiet and efficient, to operate without flashback, provide excellent turndown and deliver a "Bunsen Blue" gas flame.

The standard Fire-Box HT package includes the following: flame safety valve (100% closure), pilots, sensors, solenoid values, manual valves and digital temperature controls. Ovens include vertical lift counterbalanced door and ribbed ceramic hearth plates. All accessories come pre-packaged, mounted and tested prior to shipping.

The 2150¡F Fire-Box oven is intended for applications which require high strength, durability and abrasion resistance. Common uses include heat treating operations such as hardening, pack carburizing and annealing, as well as investment casting, dental casting, pre-heating, ceramic/glass work, and stress relieving.

Six standard sizes covering most toolroom/casting room requirements are currently being offered.
