Dual High Temperature/Tempering Furnace from Grieve

The Grieve No. 719 is a 2000¡F dual high temperature/tempering furnace currently being used for the heat treating of tool steel. The unit comprises two independent Grieve furnace models:

Model BF-122412 is an electric bench furnace while Model BF-122012 is an electric bench tempering furnace. Both furnaces are integrally welded to the steel support frame, which features channel supports between the two units.

Model BF-122412 has a maximum temperature of 2000¡F and workspace dimensions of 12" W x 24" D x 12" H. Model BT-122012 has a maximum temperature of 1250¡F and workspace dimensions of 12" W x 20" D x 12" H. The overall dimensions of No. 719 measure 40" W x 55" D x 70" H.

Features of Model BF-122412 include: a gas spring-assisted, manually-operated vertical lift door. The hot side of the door always faces away from the operator for added safety. Model BF-122012 features a 1/2 hp high temperature, stainless steel recirculating blower with inlet cone plate and air-cooled lower bearing, as well as a gasketed side-hinged door. Both furnaces provide a 20KW heat input.

The standard equipment on each of the furnaces includes: digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller, separate heating element control contactors, red pilot light, on/off heat switch and an interlocked door to turn off heating elements as door is opened.

All Grieve furnaces are fully factory-tested for performance and safety, prior to shipment.
