Can-Eng's Mesh Belt Furnaces

"The continuous Mesh Belt Furnace (pictured) is one of our most popular product lines," says Mary Bamford of Can-Eng. The mesh belt furnace, highly respected for reliability, is designed for neutral hardening, carburizing, carbonitriding and austempering. Low operating costs are achieved by the use of recuperative burners, very low atmosphere consumption and part preheating using the waste heat from the belt return. Standard sizes available to handle from 250 lbs/hour to 6,000 lbs/hour.

The mesh belt furnace uses computer based data acquisition and SPC programs are available. The continuous belt provides soft handling at transfer points to avoid part damage. The unit is available with water, oil, polymer or salt quenchants.
