BEX Offers Unique K-Ball Phosphating Nozzle Balls

For its line of K-Ball nozzles, BEX offers a nozzle ball that is designed specifically for phosphate stages, the company said.

"The hollow-cone pattern with low impact produces a large droplet spray that results in a more consistent and tighter phosphate crystalline structure, said a company spokesperson. "It minimizes the misting of phosphate spray, thus reducing 'pre-coating' streaking and carry-over to adjacent stages. Each nozzle is made from glass-reinforced polypropylene.

"BEX K-Ball adjustable clip-on, injection molded spray nozzles swivel to let you re-direct and adjust the spray for precise operation. Because it clips to a pre-drilled pipe, no tools are needed for installation or replacement. BEX's unique 'Finger' system holds the ball securely in alignment to prevent movement when the cap is tightened. The industry's heaviest and most durable spring clamp can withstand pressures up to 100-PSI at 175¡F. Hundreds of K-Ball nozzles are available with various spray patterns, flow rates and spray angles including Flat-V spray and Full Cone spray. Threaded nozzles are available also. K-Ball applications include parts cleaning, pretreatment, and spray washing and rinsing. For special applications the K-Ball nozzle can be provided with dual spring clamps."
