Scotchman Features the SH 1016 Swing Head Band Saw

Scotchman Industries has released the SH 1016 Band Saw with the company's metal fabricating solutions. "The SH 1016 is a horizontal band saw with a swing head, for easy miter with no material movement," said a spokesperson. "This high quality band saw is made in America, with many standard features and equipment including a 1-inch blade, which is controlled with carbide guides and preset blade tensioning, along with a power blade cleaning brush. The SH 1016 has a 2 HP infinite variable speed drive motor, with speeds from 105 to 275 FPM. Its capacity is 10-inches x 16-inches at 90-degrees and 10-inches x 10-3/4-inches at 45-degrees. The hydraulics feature fine adjustment of the head feed control, quick approach and head hold for easy line up of marks. Included in the flood coolant system is a wash down hose for easy cleanup."
