United Precision Introduces New Model FBF Floor Type Milling Center

MTE (Machine Tool Engineering, S.A.) of Spain has introduced its new Model FBF Floor Type Milling Center. After many years of success building traditional CNC Universal Machining Centers, customer requirements for larger capacity led to the development of the FBF platform.

"This model offers standard configurations with six, eight and 10 meters of X-axis column travel and up to three meters of Y travel," said a company spokesperson. "The robust, RAM type design offers traditional cast iron construction with a standard, CNC indexing two axis head. It can be configured with or without a rotary table and is designed for five-sided machining of large fabrications and castings."

The Model FBF is available with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls.
