ProFORCE Integrated Solutions and Arthur Machinery, Inc. (AMI) will be sponsoring SilverHorse Racing for the 2002 SCCA SARRC championship series. ProFORCE joins AMI, who sponsored in 2001, and SuperChips as sponsors for the SilverHorse #88 Mustang. The team, with support from AMI, finished 6th in the 2001 Championship series, and has been eagerly waiting the 2002 season. The team's driver, Marcello Canitano, has been driving since the age of 19, and is sanctioned by the SCCA as a National competition driver. This race season, ProFORCE says that FeatureCAM will be the exclusive CAD/CAM software used by the team at SilverHorse Racing. SilverHorse Racing team owner and driver Canitano says, “We used FeatureCAM to design and create various parts for the #88 Mustang, including wheel adapters and exhaust adapter plates. The part programs produced by FeatureCAM required no revisions, and we were able to directly input and run them on our CNC machines.” These parts have already helped SilverHorse Racing to a good start for the 2002 season. They recently placed 6th at the first of the season at Sebring. Upcoming races include events at Moroso, Road Atlanta, Savannah, Homestead/Miami and Daytona International Speedway.
