DE-STA-CO Robohand has announced its Smart Linear Actuator (SLA) Modular Automation System, a completely integrated flexible automation solution that will improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs, the company said. "The precision-engineered SLA Modular Automation System features DIRECTCONNECT technology, allowing for easy integration of Robohand pneumatic slides, grippers and rotaries," said a DE-STA-CO spokesperson. The SLA Servo Slide series is available in three different models (SLA-90, SLA-120 and SLA-150), with stroke lengths ranging from 100 mm to 1400 mm, and maximum stroke speeds ranging from 1 mm/s to 1100 mm/s.
