BGE 16 Magnetic Encoder Offered by Norstat

The new absolute magnetic encoder BGE 16 offers a resolution of 256 square-wave pulses per revolution. Output signals are evaluated by internal electronics in the rotary position transducer and can be implemented as either incremental output signals, directional signals or as index signals. The BGE 16 is designed for a wide range of applications and can be optionally equipped with an SSI interface. Absolute values are stored to memory even if there is a power supply failure. All signal outputs are inherently short-circuit proof and ESD immune up to ±15,000 V. The BGE 16 is protection rated to IP 54 with an optional IP 65 version available.
